The Dean's Committee on Women has been actively involved in developing leadership among women in the medical center. Several projects have been accomplished internally, including lectures addressing conflict management and negotiation skills development. In addition, the mentorship program has been targeting the development and identification of potential women leaders in academia. External projects involve the participation of women faculty in leadership development courses at a national level.
